A Coffee That Respects the Ocean
What makes Colombia Palermo truly unique is its journey. As part of the “Fresh Coffee. Ocean Clean” program, this coffee traveled from its origin to the first port in Europe exclusively by sailing vessel.
By harnessing the power of the wind instead of relying on fossil fuels, the environmental impact of transportation is significantly reduced, generating up to four times fewer CO₂ emissions. At the same time, this method helps protect marine life by reducing the underwater noise pollution associated with conventional cargo ships.
This is a coffee that respects both the ocean and the planet, combining exceptional quality with environmental responsibility.
The Castillo variety from the new Microfarm Colombia Palermo is one of Colombia’s most popular coffee varieties. It is known for producing cups with a rich body, pronounced sweetness, and a well-balanced flavor profile, offering a truly enjoyable coffee experience.
