Another rare experience takes its place in the 36th Microfarm Project coffee. The limited edition Kindeng comes from Papua New Guinea, harvested from small farms run by 1,500 local micro-farmers.
It is 100% Specialty Arabica, grown in small garden-like plantations at an altitude of 1,520–1,770 m, offering a unique and complex aromatic profile. In the cup, notes of raspberry jam, ripe mango, and dark chocolate unfold, with pronounced sweetness, full body, balanced acidity, and a long-lasting finish.
Kindeng coffees are named after the eponymous processing mill in the Waghi Valley, where the harvests from all local farmers are carefully sorted and slowly dried for about a month, ensuring uniform and stable moisture throughout the batch.
The region, densely forested with stunning mountains and river valleys, is renowned for its specialty coffees. Generations of farmers cultivate coffee under shade alongside other subsistence crops. Today, coffees from the Waghi Valley are celebrated for their unique aromatic and flavor profile.
A rare coffee experience that will never come again, for those who love fruity notes, sweetness, and a long, satisfying finish.
