TRAVEL TO NICARAGUA WITH JUST ONE SIP!

Our coffee explorers are never complacent and continue to discover new flavors and aromas. This time we traveled to Nicaragua and brought home a new Single Estate that will tantalize you!

LET’S TAKE A TOUR…

This is Samaria Farm, in the San Fernando area, northwest of Nicaragua. Samaria Farm has a long history producing some of the finest coffee in the world.

WHO ARE THE PERALTAS?

Octavio Peralta’s family is well known around the world for cultivating   different and exotic coffee varieties. The land they cultivate is the secret to their success.

The Earth

The soil is extremely fertile and is considered to be  one of the most ideal locations for cultivation, due to its rich vegetation and wildlife resulting from frequent rainfalls. This natural habitat contributes significantly to the aromatic and delicious profile of the coffee beans. Another important detail that adds flavor is the altitude, which is 1320-1450m.

GRAIN CHARACTERISTICS

Nicaraguan coffee is an aromatic explosion full of roasted nuts, tangerines and caramel. Its texture is uniquely velvety, and its aftertaste is sweet, brought on by  a special processing method.

HONEY METHOD

The Honey Method  has been used for the last 10 years. Its main feature is that the whole peel is not removed during the drying of the fruits, with the result that the coffee is enriched with even more  flavor.

“THE COFFEE”

Nicaragua By Peralta, is a 100% specialty Arabica coffee, which you can find in packages of 200g (beans) from our Coffee Grindery. You can  also enjoy it at our espresso bar. Its omni-roast profile makes it ideal for Espresso coffee and Filter Coffee!
